Happy Halloween and 4 Months Baby J

Julianna went in for her 4 month check up today and oh boy we have a big baby!! She weighed 15 lbs 4 oz (90 percentile) and is 25 ½ inches long (97 percentile). Let’s just say she doesn’t miss a meal. The doctor was really happy with all her progress and told us we can start cereal and she is ok to start sleeping on her tummy (thank God- longer naps here we come). We look forward to all her new developments and love watching her grow!

We have been on several big adventures this month. We took our first flight with Julianna to Michigan to meet the family. She was amazing on the plane, I was really worried. She really enjoyed hanging out with the family and meeting so many family members who love her so much. Thank you to everyone who brought her adorable outfits! Julianna had to have 4 outfit changes on Halloween just to show off all her Halloween outfits. We are really looking forward to Grandma Jo, Papa Do and Auntie Ang coming to Texas for Thanksgiving, Papa Ken and Roses coming to see us before for Christmas and flying back to Michigan for Christmas.

Julianna has been making lots of new friends. It’s tough keeping up with her social calendar! We go on several play dates a week where she has made lots of new friends. This is a picture of her holding Kaelyn Hudson’s hand at a play date.

This is a picture with Sadie Zipser at a dinner at our house. Sadie and Julianna went and saw their first movie in the theater this week and both girls were great!

Pumpkin Patch

We took Julianna to her first pumpkin patch today. Today is one of the first days it has really felt like fall in Dallas so it made for some cute pictures but not too happy of a baby after a little while. For everyone in Michigan, it was around 58 degrees which is a cold day in my book :) I don't think she really cared for the colder weather...she's a summer baby! We bundled her up and finished walking around and laughed at the kids running around in the hay maze and bounce house, we will be chasing her through the maze in a couple of years :) We hope everyone is well! 3 Months

So this is a week late but all you moms know how that is :) Happy 3 months Baby J!!

Julianna had a major month this past month. She went to her first Texas Rangers game, it got rained out but we had fun anyway hanging out with Brad and LT and getting to know the "new" Stars guys.

Julianna and I also went on our first road trip to see Papa Ken and Roses. Julianna was very good in the car and enjoyed her visit to the lodge very much. The highlight of the trip was going to see one of Papa Ken new ranches and getting to ride around in the back of his truck up and down the canyons.

Julianna also got to hang out with lots of good friends at the Cruson and Fitz Engagement party. Thank you to everyone who "played mommy"! We have lots of friends who are going to make great moms!

Julianna also attended opening night for the Stars! She was a trooper and tried her very best to sleep through the loud horns when the Stars scored but we were one horn short, Stars lost in a shoot out. Julianna wasn't happy that they lost and didn't think it was time for photo.

We look forward to going to Michigan for Halloween and introducing Julianna to the family! Check out the new photo album on the left.

Roll Over

Ok, so I'm totally going to be the mom that post videos of the smallest things...Julianna has learned how to roll over or kind of fall over in protest of tummy time.
