New Photo's

I have posted two new albums on our blog. One is of photos our friend Mallory was so sweet to come out and take and the other is photos Aldo and I took today playing with the color feature on our camera. We got some good smiles…Aldo said it was because she was pooping but I believe she was smiling at me :)

We can't believe Tuesday will mark 7 weeks. We finally got Julianna sleeping in her bed at night and we are starting to get on a schedule. It's hard not getting as much sleep but at least we know about what time we will be up in the middle of the night and she is getting to where she will just eat and go back to bed without much fuss. She is starting to discover her voice and will make the funniest sounds then smile.

Bows and More Bows!! Week 3 & Week 4

1 Month

Wow, what a month we have had! We took Julianna for her one month check up on Friday and she is a happy, healthy, growing little girl! She now weighs 8 lbs 8 oz and is 21 inches long. We are enjoying her longer periods of being awake and laugh at the funny faces she makes. We are still learning her sleep patterns which have led to some sleepless nights but that is to be expected. On the 19th we celebrated our one year anniversary by eating the top tier of our wedding cake and watching our wedding video as a family. It was very laid back but much needed! We look forward to visits from Gramma Jo, Auntie Ang and Roses all this month!

I think I have a flower on my head!

Julianna had her weight checked today and she weighs 6 lbs 15 oz. They are very happy with her weight change and her color. She is getting better everyday. She is doing really well! She sleeps for about 3 hours at a time, wakes to eat and then heads back into dream land. We are working on our sleep schedule! We found napping is key!

I'm back on bed rest trying to fight an infection I got so Julianna is enjoying lots of daddy time. We are going to miss him when he goes back to work on Monday :( We are also sad to say bye to Papa Do (Big Aldo) tomorrow but happy that Roses and Papa Ken are coming in to take over.

Julianna is doing SO much better! She gained 4 oz in a day and has had more dirty diapers than expected (which means her jaundice is getting better). We never knew we could be so excited about dirty diapers!

New Pictures

Hello All,
Sorry for the delay in updates but holy cow having a baby changes your life!!! I don't think I have ever gone 4 days without touching my laptop EVER!!!

We are doing well! We had a rough couple of days fighting weight loss and jaundice but God answered our prayers and she has started gaining weight again. We never knew we would be so excited to see dirty diapers. Aldo is PRO at changing diapers now! That has become his job :) Diesel loves our little Julianna too, he thinks her head and feet taste real good!

We have really appreciated the help of our parents and all your love and prayers. We are starting to finally get things under control....kind of....controlled chaos!

Julianna's Birthday

Julianna is here!!! We started the induction at 7 am this morning and she decided to join us at 3:13 pm. Everything went very smoothly and I found that the epidural was a gift from God :) I thought I would see how long I could suffer through them then found out that I was crazy once it kicked it. WOW those are good drugs! I didn't feel anything else until I was 10 cm. I pushed for about an hour then we met our sweet little girl.

She was 6lbs 10 oz and 18 and a half inches. She has been feeding well and is sleeping like a baby right now. All three of us are doing great! I'm going to try to get some rest!
